Forget rigid timetables. You choose your departure time from Ariki Backpackers. When you're finished with your hike, we'll be there at your pre-arranged time to pick you up. No rushing, no waiting.
A smarter price for couples & groups
We charge one flat rate of $110 for the entire car (1-4 people). For couples, that's just $55 each (vs. $120 on the shuttle). For groups of 3 or 4, it's a massive saving!
Your own private car
This is your transfer. Enjoy a comfortable, quiet ride with just your friends or partner. We take you directly from Ariki to the trailhead—no extra pick-ups or drop-offs along the way.
Travel with zero emissions
Your ride to the mountain shouldn't spoil the environment. We are the only electric vehicle transfer service for the trailhead. You can enjoy the stunning Taranaki scenery knowing your trip is 100% eco-friendly.

Our simple & fair cancellation policy
We understand that travel plans change and that mountain weather is unpredictable. Here is our simple policy, designed to be as fair as possible.
If you cancel your booking for any reason at least 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time, you'll receive a 100% full refund, no questions asked.
